The A22 nickel plating option is offered for units that will be used in harsh environments. A thin electroless nickel plating process is added to the output shaft and seal carrier of the unit. This plating is resistant to corrosion and will prevent the shaft seal from grooving into the shaft, ultimately causing a leak. This option is highly recommended for applications such as car washes, underwater, washdown, agricultural machinery, etc.
